Spaceworks completes the design of Lucino’s showrooms at Residium in Auckland and the Home Ideas Centre in Christchurch.

Designed by Spaceworks, led by Lauren Gibbs, these showrooms were crafted to inspire and showcase the versatility of Lucino stone products.

A Showroom That Inspires

Lucino stone is renowned for its perfect blend of natural and man-made elements, delivering exceptional durability and a luxurious finish. The showroom design aimed to showcase Lucino’s premium stone vanities while encouraging visitors to explore creative mix-and-match options for fixtures, mirrors, and lighting.

Pushing Boundaries in Showroom Design

Lauren Gibbs redefined showroom experiences by incorporating layers of tone, materiality, and lighting. This approach added depth and softness, ensuring that Lucino’s understated luxury took centre stage.

Smart Layout, Seamless Flow

The showroom’s layout was strategically designed to balance high product volume with open spaces for reflection. A unique challenge was the two central poles, which were creatively transformed into totem-like design elements, enhancing rather than obstructing movement.

Lighting & Design That Guides

Playful fixtures subtly guide visitors through the showroom, while layered lighting techniques create an inviting atmosphere. The carefully positioned vignette lighting highlights Lucino’s product range, ensuring each element is showcased to perfection.

A Success Story, Duplicated in Christchurch

The final result? A stunning showroom that exceeded expectations, delivering both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Lucino was thrilled with the outcome, leading to the design being duplicated in their Christchurch showroom.
