This June, Spaceworks have taken up the challenge to Sweat With Pride…We’re fighting discrimination with perspiration.
Created by the New Zealand Aids Foundation, Sweat With Pride aims to improve the lives of Rainbow Kiwis. The goal is to complete 21 minutes of exercise a day so we’ve signed up our Spaceworks team and we’re getting active, improving our health and wellbeing, all while raising money for an awesome cause.
Money raised goes towards some fantastic organisations supporting NZ’s Rainbow Community:
🏳️🌈 New Zealand Aids Foundation – funding counselling, health services, education and community events.
🏳️🌈 RainbowYOUTH – provides support, information and advocacy for queer, gender diverse and intersex youth, their friends, whānau and communities. 10% of profits will go towards RainbowYOUTH’s youth support and engagement as well as changing minds about gender and sexuality through advocacy and awareness raising.
🏳️🌈 OutLine –an all-ages rainbow mental health organisation providing information, support, and resources to rainbow communities, their friends, whānau, and those who are questioning, throughout Aotearoa. 10% of the profits from Sweat with Pride will fund projects at OutLine. Donations will support OutLine’s counselling services, helping to increase accessibility to important and affirming help, support and resources for all members of our rainbow communities.
We’d love your support in our goal of raising $2,500 – click here to go to our donations page, and be sure to follow our progress on our social channels all month long.
