Protecting Our Moana, One Step at a Time

This year, as we prepare to move to our new home by the sea in Britomart, we’re embracing the spirit of giving back to Aotearoa’s beautiful moana. We’re proud to support Sustainable Coastlines, a charity working to reduce plastic pollution and litter on our coastlines by 60% by 2030.

One of our talented designers, Lauren Gibbs, has illustrated examples of common construction site materials that often end up in landfills and, in some cases, our oceans. Improper disposal, and unsecured waste can lead to debris polluting oceans and coastlines. Lauren’s illustration serves as a reminder of the environmental impact of construction waste and the urgent need for action. At Spaceworks, we’re committed to raising awareness and doing our part—but there’s still so much more we can achieve together.
