With over 7 years of experience in project management and retail fit-outs, Christa Mazey is a driving force in the industry. But her journey with Spaceworks actually started 12 years ago when she did temp work between jobs. The studio’s energy, and passion left a lasting impression. She thought, one day, I’d love to be part of this. Now, that day has arrived.

As a project manager at Spaceworks, Christa brings expertise in overseeing complex projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. Her background includes managing multi-million-dollar projects across retail, hospitality, and commercial spaces, leading teams, and implementing strategic processes to drive efficiency. She thrives in fast-paced environments, solving challenges with a sharp eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a collaborative approach.

Passionate about delivering outstanding spaces, Christa is committed to bringing clients’ visions to life with precision and innovation, all while keeping the process smooth, efficient, and stress-free. She’s most looking forward to being on the creative side of the process, working with the design team to bring projects to life while ensuring quality and vision stay intact. Building strong relationships with clients and contractors is also a key focus, knowing that great partnerships lead to even better outcomes.

Outside of work, Christa loves being out on the water with her husband and their Sheepadoodle, Hank, fishing or diving for a fresh feed. She also enjoys cooking, hosting friends.
