While our official move isn’t until early next year, we are thrilled to announce that Spaceworks has leased the historic Kiwi Tavern Building (Aka Spaceworks House), located at 23 Britomart Place.

This is an iconic site with a rich history, which has been a fixture in Britomart since the 1920s. Originally a lively social hub, the Kiwi Tavern was a place where people gathered, shared stories, and created memories. Over the decades, it evolved, witnessing the many changes in Auckland’s vibrant downtown.

From boozy nights, bicycle pioneers and a safari gone horribly wrong: The Kiwi Tavern, Britomart’s latest heritage building to be refurbished to target 5 Green Star status, has a small footprint but a big history. Read more about the Kiwi Tavern Building’s long and colourful history here.
